There's no greater joy than having created a new life...
7 weeks 1 day Ultrasound
I'm on my way to 13 weeks being pregnant. While it's very exciting, it can also be very stressful - thinking about my baby's health, thinking about my own health and thinking about the future (especially the financial aspects of it).
It's time to save up! My boyfriend and I have to sacrifice a lot of things we usually enjoy such as watching movies, dining out, shopping at Greenhills and out-of-town adventures... It's all right, once I hold our baby in my arms... I'm sure it will be all worth it, especially, because this little bundle of joy was made with 100% LOVE...
How do we save up? We assume that I'm going for a C-section delivery even if I intend to deliver 'Normal.' I'm saving up to cover expenses for C-section because you'll never know and when that time comes, I know I will not panic. If I do deliver normally, then that's great! I'll have extra cash to buy more cute baby stuffs!
Aside from saving for baby delivery, I still continue to invest in our Mutual Fund, Insurance (w/ investment) and Stock Market (Philippines). I know these investments are very important for our future (retirement fund) and our baby's future (education).
I'll tell you more about my investments in the next coming posts, in the meantime, let me enjoy being pregnant... :D
